Ingredients
- 4 elderflower buds
- 1 egg
- 125 g flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 150 ml milk
- oil (for frying)
- powdered sugar (for dusting)

Wash elderflower buds and drain. Beat the egg, then whisk in flour, milk, salt and sugar until smooth. Dip the elderflower buds into the batter and fry in hot oil (about 160-170°C) until golden yellow. Drain on kitchen paper.
