Fish pan with Swiss chard and kohlrabi from Spoonsparrow: Thanks to cod, high-quality omega-3 fatty acids are included, which help prevent diseases!

Ingredients

  • 50 g onions (1 onion)
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 600 g Swiss chard
  • 300 g kohlrabi (1 kohlrabi)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 200 ml vegetable broth
  • 500 g Cod fillet
  • 1 lemon
  • 100 ml cooking cream (15% fat)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 bunch dill

Instructions

    Peel and finely chop onion and garlic.

  2. 2.

    Wash and trim Swiss chard. Cut stems into cubes, slice leaves into strips.

    Peel and cube kohlrabi.

  4. 4.

    Heat olive oil in a pan. Sauté onion, garlic, chard stems and kohlrabi cubes over medium heat for 3 minutes. Add broth and simmer for 5 minutes over medium heat.

    Meanwhile rinse fish and pat dry with paper towels. Halve lemon, squeeze juice and drizzle about half over the fish.

    Fold Swiss chard leaves into the cooked vegetables. Place fish on top, pour in cooking cream, season with salt and pepper. Cover and steam for about 5 minutes over medium heat.

    In the meantime wash dill, shake off excess water, pluck fronds from stems and finely chop.

  8. 8.

    Season the dish with remaining lemon juice, sprinkle with dill and serve.
