Ingredients

  • 600 g sardine fillet (ready to cook, skin on)
  • 1.5 cm fresh ginger
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 chili pepper (or chili)
  • 2 red onions
  • 3 untreated limes
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 roasted nori seaweed sheet (cut into strips)

Instructions

    Wash the fish, pat dry and cut into thin strips.

    Peel and finely chop the ginger and garlic.

    Wash the chili pepper, halve it, remove seeds and white membranes, then slice into thin strips. Peel the onions and also slice into strips. Wash limes hot, pat dry, zest the peel and squeeze the juice. Mix the juice with soy sauce, oil, ginger, garlic, chili, onions and lime zest; marinate the fish in this mixture. Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour. Plate and garnish with sliced seaweed before serving.
