- 1 EL germ oil
- 2 slices beef fillet
- 2 EL liquid butter
- Salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 500 g meat tomato
- 2 large onions
- olive oil
- Salt
- black pepper
- fresh thyme
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry

Preheat a pan on high heat, add oil and warm it. Place the filet steaks in the hot oil with a spatula and sear for 1 minute. Flip and sear the other side. Reduce heat to medium. Cook each side for another 2 minutes. Drizzle the steaks with butter and cook each side for an additional minute.

For the vegetables, peel onions, slice into thin rings and halve them. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the onions over medium heat until translucent. Meanwhile, blanch tomatoes, peel, and dice finely. Add to the sautéed onions and simmer for another 15 minutes. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper, then sprinkle fresh chopped thyme on top.

Let the puff pastry sheet thaw and cut into long triangles. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for 10-15 minutes.
