Ingredients

  • 200 g puff pastry (frozen)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 50 g red currant jam
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 large figs
  • 100 g blue cheese (e.g., Gorgonzola or Saint Agur)
  • 45 g walnut kernels
  • Arugula leaf (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (Oven rack in middle). Let the pastry thaw.

  2. 2.

Melt the butter and spread 1–2 tbsp on the bottom of a 20 cm springform, then remove the rim. Roll out the pastry, cut to size, and lay it on the pan. Warm the jam with 1–2 tbsp honey and spread over the pastry, leaving about a 3 cm edge. Wash, dry, and slice the figs. Arrange fig slices on the tart. Crumble the cheese over them. Drizzle with remaining honey. Brush the rim with leftover butter.

  3. 3.

Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes. Remove, let cool briefly, then sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Serve warm topped with washed and dried arugula leaves.
