Ingredients

  • 250 g soft butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 350 g flour
  • a pinch of salt
  • sugar (for coating)

Instructions

    Beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Stir in the flour and salt, then knead into a smooth dough.

    Roll out on a floured surface and cut round cookies about 5 cm in diameter. Place them on a greased baking sheet and bake at 175°C for about 15 minutes until lightly browned. Remove, optionally coat with sugar, and let cool.
