Ingredients
- 1 Vanilla bean
- 2 handfuls elderflowers
- 1 untreated lemon
- 1 kg sugar

Slice the vanilla bean lengthwise. Wash the elderflowers and shake them dry. Wash the lemon and cut it into slices.

Heat the sugar with 1 l water, add the elderflowers, the sliced vanilla bean, and the lemon slices, then simmer for 10-15 minutes over medium heat until the sugar has fully dissolved. Pour into a clean, empty container and let cool completely.
