Ingredients
- 2 handfuls elderflowers
- 1 untreated lemon
- 200 g sugar
- elderflowers (for garnish)

Do not wash the elderflowers, just shake them to remove dust. Rinse the lemon under hot water and slice it. Slowly bring 1 l of water with the sugar to a boil while stirring, then let simmer for about 10 minutes.

Allow the mixture to cool, add the elderflowers and lemon slices, and pour into a large bottle or jar. Seal tightly and let steep for two days.

Strain through a sieve and dilute the syrup with cold water or sparkling water to taste before serving. Garnish with elderflowers.
