Dates with Chocolate

These salty‑chocolate dates are a healthy snack for all sweet tooths!

Ingredients

  • 18 pecan kernels
  • 6 large soft dates (e.g., Medjool; pitted)
  • 50 g dark chocolate (vegan; at least 70% cocoa content)
  • 6 pinch Fleur de sel

Instructions

    Coarsely chop the chocolate and place it in a bowl. Melt over a hot but not boiling water bath, stirring.

    Arrange three pecan kernels on each side of the date in a circular pattern toward the center. Open a date, lay it over the kernels and press gently together.

    Brush with melted chocolate and sprinkle with a pinch of Fleur de sel. Chill in the refrigerator for 5 minutes until firm, then remove and enjoy.
