Ingredients
- 500 g red currants
- 1 tsp ground anise seeds
- 2 mint sprigs
- 500 g sugar
- 4 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 l fruit brandy
Instructions

Wash the currants, discard stems, and let them drain on kitchen paper.

Mix with the sugar and pour into a large bottle. Let it steep overnight.

Add the cinnamon stick, cloves, and fruit brandy to the bottle, seal tightly, shake well, and store in a warm place for at least three months, shaking occasionally.

If desired, strain the liqueur through a sieve at the end, gently pressing the berries to extract more flavor.
