Ingredients
- 2 onions
- 600 g fresh currants
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp mustard seeds
- 150 ml dry white wine
- 100 ml Vegetable broth
- Salt
- ground pepper (from the mill)
- vinegar (to taste)
Instructions

Peel and finely dice the onions. Wash and discard the stems of the currants. In a pot caramelize the sugar, add the onion cubes with the currants and mustard seeds, and bring to a boil while stirring constantly.

Deglaze with white wine and broth, then simmer for about 20 minutes over medium heat. Finally season with salt, pepper, and vinegar, and serve alongside a piece of cheese.
