Creamy mashed potatoes with hazelnut butter: a smooth potato mash with a light, nutty flavor – simple and delicious.
Ingredients
- 750 g waxy potatoes
- Salt
- 50 g hazelnut kernels
- 0.5 bunch Parsley
- 200 ml milk (1.5% fat)
- Pepper
- nutmeg
- 40 g Butter
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Wash, peel and boil the potatoes in salted water for about 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, roughly chop the hazelnuts. Wash the parsley, shake dry, pick off leaves and chop.

Heat the milk until just before it boils.

Drain the potatoes. Return the pot with the potatoes to the turned-off stove and let any remaining liquid evaporate.

Mash the potatoes.

Stir in the warm milk with a whisk. Season with salt, pepper and a pinch of freshly grated nutmeg.

In a small saucepan, froth the butter and olive oil. Add the nuts and parsley and sauté briefly. Pour over the mashed potatoes.
