Ingredients

  • 500 g mostly waxy potatoes
  • 2 shallots
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 3 spring onions
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 100 g crème fraîche
  • Salt
  • black pepper
  • 4 slices whole grain bread
  • 2 tbsp chive rolls

Instructions

    Wash potatoes and simmer in a pot with a little water for about 30 minutes until tender. Drain, cool quickly, peel, and press while still hot.

    Peel shallots and garlic cloves, finely chop them. Wash spring onions, trim, and finely mince.

    Heat butter in a pan, sauté shallots, garlic, and spring onions. Mix everything with the herbs and crème fraîche. Season with salt and pepper, then refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.

    Spread the mixture on the bread slices and garnish with chive rolls.
