Creamy Hummus from Spoonsparrow: Why not simply make the spread yourself!

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp cold-pressed olive oil
  • 4 tbsp Tahini
  • 440 g chickpeas (canned; drained weight)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

    Place oil and tahini paste in a blender and blend for at least 1 minute.

    Meanwhile, drain the chickpeas into a sieve and rinse with cold water.

  3. 3.

    Place chickpeas, 120 ml water, lemon juice, cumin and salt in the blender and puree everything finely.
