- 4 tart apples (apples)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp freshly grated horseradish
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tbsp whipped cream

Peel the apples, quarter them, remove cores, cut into small pieces and steam gently with a little water until tender. Let the fruit cool well.
