Ingredients
- 1 medium watermelon
- 1 Kiwi
- 1 apple
- 50 g currants
- 1 orange
- 100 g small renekloden
- 30 ml lemon juice
- 1 honey
- 15 ml white rum
Instructions
-
1.
Wash all fruit thoroughly.
-
2.
Mark a line around the upper third of the melon with a knife. Using a serrated blade, pierce the fruit in a star pattern along this line to the center, creating two melon halves with scalloped edges.
-
3.
Use a melon baller to scoop out flesh from the larger half until a 2 cm thick layer remains; remove the smaller half completely. Peel and segment the orange with a sharp knife. Quarter the apple, remove its core, and slice into wedges. Slice the kiwi into rounds. De-stem all but one stem of the currants for garnish.
-
4.
Mix the remaining fruit together and fill the larger melon half. Top with the remaining small renekloden, a currant stem, and fruit slices. Whisk lemon juice, honey, and rum to make a sauce and pour over the fruit. Chill the filled melon in the refrigerator for about an hour.
