Ingredients
- 4 slices thick white bread
- 4 small tomatoes
- 1 Red Onion
- 2 stalks celery
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 bunch basil leaves
- 2 tbsp capers
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 6 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt
- ground pepper
- 4 small lettuce leaves
Instructions

Tear the bread into bite-sized pieces.

Wash tomatoes and cut into chunks. Peel onion and slice thinly. Wash, deseed, and dice bell peppers; remove white membranes. Slice celery thinly. Rinse lettuce, pat dry.

Whisk mustard, vinegar, salt, pepper; whisk in oil with a fork until emulsified. Mix with all salad ingredients except lettuce, let sit about 30 minutes.

For serving place lettuce in a bowl and arrange the bread‑vegetable salad on top.
