The Coconut Fruit Salad from Spoonsparrow is the ultimate refreshment on a hot summer day!

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe papaya
  • 0.5 net melon
  • 3 oranges
  • 2 Kiwis
  • 4 kumquats
  • 1 pack of physalis
  • 1 carambola
  • 4 tbsp raisins
  • 2 tbsp coconut flakes

Instructions

    Halve the papaya, scrape out the seeds with a spoon and peel the flesh. Cut the papaya into pieces. Do the same with the melon. Thoroughly peel the oranges with a sharp knife, removing the white pith. Slice fruit fillets from the separating membranes and catch the released orange juice. Squeeze juice from the remaining orange parts.

    Peel the kiwis, quarter them lengthwise and slice into rounds. Wash the kumquats and cut into eighths. Remove the physalis from their flower capsules and wash. Wash the carambola, halve it lengthwise and slice. Mix all fruits in a bowl with raisins and orange juice. Serve in dessert cups sprinkled with coconut flakes.
