Ingredients
- 150 ml orange juice
- 400 ml rum
- 350 g sugar
- 200 g kumquat
- 300 g pineapple
- 1 untreated lime
- 2 cm fresh ginger

Bring the orange juice with 300 ml water, the rum, and the sugar to a boil in a pot and remove from heat. Wash and halve the kumquats. Peel the pineapple carefully, remove the tough core, and cut the flesh into bite‑sized pieces.

Rinse the lime under hot water and slice it thinly. Peel the ginger and slice it thinly as well. Place the fruit with the lime and ginger slices in heat‑washed glasses and fill with the syrup. Seal the glasses tightly and store for 2 weeks in a cool, dark place.
