Ingredients

  • 800 g ground beef
  • 2 onions
  • 2 pickles
  • 6 Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 head of Lollo Bianco lettuce
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • 100 g Gouda cheese (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tube of red‑white ketchup/mayonnaise
  • peppercorns
  • butter for frying

Instructions

  1. 1.

Peel the onions and slice them thinly with the pickles. Wash and pat dry the tomatoes and lettuce. Cut small circles from the cheese using a cutter. Halve the buns. Mix the ground beef with mustard, salt, and pepper, then divide into six portions.

  2. 2.

Shape each portion into a ball and flatten it slightly. Heat butter in a pan and cook the patties on both sides for about 4 minutes until browned. Place lettuce on the bottom bun halves and set the patties on top.

  3. 3.

Arrange onion rings, pickle slices, and cheese slices to form a face. Press a tomato onto the patty as a nose and shape the mouth with ketchup‑mayonnaise from the tube. Split peppercorns in half and use them as eyes. Top with the upper bun halves.
