Spicy Chicken Strips (Chicken Tikka)

Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 piece ginger (walnut-sized)
- 4 tbsp sesame oil
- 4 Tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp 10% cream yogurt
- 0.5 tbsp tomato paste
- 0.5 tsp ground cardamom
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 0.5 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 pinch clove powder
- 600 g Chicken breast fillet
- salt to taste
- 4 lime wedges for garnish

Peel the garlic and ginger for the marination. Mix both with sesame oil, lime juice, yogurt, and tomato paste. Stir in cardamom, coriander, cumin, turmeric, chili powder, and clove powder. Wash the chicken, pat dry, and cut into strips (about 5 x 1 cm). Toss the chicken strips with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

Turn on the oven grill. Line a baking sheet with foil. Place the marinated chicken strips on the sheet. Grill in the oven on the middle rack for 8-10 minutes until lightly browned. Flip the strips and cook another 5-8 minutes. Season with salt and serve with lime wedges.
