Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 1 pinch salt
- 200 g sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 220 g coconut flakes
- baking paper
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 160°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Beat the egg whites into stiff peaks. Gradually fold in salt, sugar and lemon juice, continuing to beat until the meringue is very stiff and shiny.

Fold the coconut flakes into the meringue with a spatula. Using two damp teaspoons, scoop small heaps from the mixture onto the parchment sheets.

Bake the macarons on the middle rack of the oven for about 20 minutes until lightly golden. Let them cool on a wire rack.
