Chocolate Strawberries with Cardamom

Quick and delicious dessert: chocolate strawberries with cardamom are perfect for gifting, bringing along, and snacking.

Ingredients

  • 400 g Strawberries
  • 2 cardamom pods
  • 100 g dark chocolate couverture (at least 72% cocoa)

Instructions

    Place the strawberries in a sieve, gently wash them and pat dry.

    Break open the cardamom pods and remove the seeds. Finely crush the cardamom seeds in a mortar.

    Coarsely chop the chocolate and place it in a small double boiler. Add the cardamom.

    Melt the chocolate over hot water while stirring.

  5. 5.

    Hold each strawberry by its stem and dip it 2/3 into the liquid chocolate, one at a time.

    Place the chocolate-covered strawberries on parchment paper and let the chocolate set. Chill until ready to serve.
