Chocolate strawberries from Spoonsparrow: The combination of fresh fruit with white and dark chocolate coating is simply irresistible!

Ingredients

  • 500 g strawberries
  • 150 g white couverture
  • 150 g bittersweet couverture

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Wash the strawberries gently with style and pat them dry. Divide the strawberries into three portions. Chop both couvertures separately and melt each over a hot, not boiling water bath. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

    Take one third of the strawberries; dip half of them to about the middle in the white couverture, the other half in the bittersweet couverture. Let the strawberries drain briefly and then dry thoroughly on a cooling rack.

    Dip the second third of strawberries with one side into the light couverture and the other side into the dark couverture. Let chocolate-covered strawberries dry on a cooling rack.

    Decorate some of the chocolate strawberries further by piping white and dark couvertures separately into mini squeeze bags. Drizzle thin threads of couverture over the strawberries and let set on the cooling rack.

    For the final third, pour a little white couverture into the dark couverture (and vice versa) without stirring. Dip the strawberries, let them drain briefly, then dry on the cooling rack. Arrange all chocolate strawberries on a plate and serve.
