Chocolate Shell Oats from Spoonsparrow: Prepared in the evening, start the day healthy the next morning!

Ingredients

  • 80 g rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp flax seeds
  • 300 ml oat drink (oat milk)
  • Salt
  • 0.5 tsp turmeric
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 persimmon
  • 100 g carrots
  • 20 g hazelnuts
  • 2 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions

    Mix the rolled oats with flax seeds, oat drink and salt, turmeric and cinnamon. Cut the persimmon into small cubes and grate the carrot finely and mix both into the mixture. Then place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

    After the waiting time, divide into two glasses, roughly chop the hazelnuts and mix ⅔ of the kernels underneath. Put coconut oil in a pot and let it melt over low heat for 3-5 minutes and stir smooth with cocoa powder.

    Spread the oat-persimmon mixture smoothly and pour the coconut oil mixture over it. Swirl the glasses slightly so that a smooth surface is formed. Once the chocolate layer has hardened, serve Chocolate Shell Oats with the remaining hazelnuts.
