Chocolate Muffins with Sour Cream
Sour cream makes the minis super moist – here’s the recipe!
Ingredients
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 100 g butter
- 200 ml milk
- 1 egg
- 100 ml sour cream
- 250 g flour
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 pinch salt
- butter (for the muffin tin)
- sugar (for the muffin tin)

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Chop the chocolate into small pieces with a knife. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add 50g of chocolate and almost completely dissolve it. Whisk together milk, egg, sour cream, and sugar using a hand mixer. In a bowl combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, cocoa, and salt thoroughly. Add the milk mixture, chocolate butter, and remaining chocolate pieces to the dry mix and stir with a wooden spoon until homogeneous.

Grease the muffin tin with butter and sprinkle the bottoms with a little sugar. Pour in the batter and smooth it out.

Bake the chocolate muffins with sour cream on the middle rack for 25 minutes. Then let them cool in the tin for 10 minutes, transfer to a wire rack, and cool completely.
