- 250 g quark
- 450 g flour
- 150 g sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 4 tbsp milk
- 8 tbsp plant oil
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 jar sweet cherries (680 ml)
- flour for dusting
- 1 egg yolk

Preheat the oven to 180°C with upper and lower heat. Knead all dough ingredients together. Drain the cherries, dust them with flour, and fold into the dough. Cut 70 g portions from the dough, shape into balls, press slightly, and place on a parchment-lined baking tray spaced apart.

Brush the rolls with egg yolk and bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes (test with a skewer). Remove, let cool, and serve with fresh butter.
