Cinnamon Roll Cookies

Ingredients
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 60 g butter (soft)
- 50 g cream cheese
- 80 g sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 180 g flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 2 tbsp liquid butter

Mix sugar and cinnamon, set aside. Beat butter with cream cheese, then stir in sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla sugar.

Roll the dough between two sheets of cling film sized 20 x 30 cm, remove the top sheet, brush the dough with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar, then roll up from the narrow side using the lower sheet; coat the roll completely in cinnamon-sugar. Wrap the dough again in film and refrigerate for about 3 hours.

Cut the roll into slices about 5 mm thick and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 12 minutes until golden yellow. Let the cookies cool on a wire rack.
