Ingredients

  • 1 small ripe pineapple
  • 250 g strawberries
  • Sandwich cake (125 g each)
  • Almond cookies (125 g each)
  • 200 g whipping cream
  • 200 g mint chocolate
  • 5 fresh mint leaves

Instructions

    Peel the pineapple thoroughly, cut it into eight sections, remove the core, and then slice crosswise. Wash, trim, and cut strawberries according to size. Arrange pineapple pieces and strawberries decoratively on a plate.

    Cut the sandwich cake into bite‑sized cubes and place them with the cookies in a bowl.

    Heat the cream in a fondue pot, melt the chopped chocolate into it while stirring.

    For serving set the fondue pot over a warming stand, keep the chocolate mixture hot but not boiling. Slice mint leaves into fine strips and sprinkle them over the chocolate.

    Skewer the fondue ingredients onto fondue forks and dip them through the chocolate.
