Ingredients

  • 400 ml milk
  • 1 Tbsp starch
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 100 ml whipping cream
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 150 g white couverture chocolate
  • chocolate eggs (for garnish)

Instructions

    Bring the milk to a boil. In a bowl whisk together the starch, vanilla sugar, cream and egg yolks until smooth. While whisking, pour the hot milk in a thin stream into the mixture. Transfer back to the pot, stir, heat gently and let thicken slightly. Remove from heat. Chop the chocolate, add it to the custard and stir until melted. Pour the custard into dessert glasses, cool, then refrigerate until fully set.
