Ingredients
- 4 egg whites
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 170 g powdered sugar
- 200 g ground almonds
- 100 g dark chocolate couverture

Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F) with both top and bottom heat.

Beat the egg whites with salt and lemon juice until very stiff. Gradually add powdered sugar while whisking, continuing until the mixture shines and forms peaks. Fold in the almonds. Fill a piping bag fitted with a large star tip and pipe strips about 6 cm long onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. Remove and let cool.

Coarsely chop the chocolate and melt it over a hot, non-boiling water bath.

Dip each meringue strip 1 cm into the melted chocolate, allow excess to drip off, and set on a cooling rack to dry. Serve arranged in cups.
