Chocolate Cake Baked Over the Fire

Ingredients
- Vegetable oil (for the Dutch oven)
- Breadcrumbs (for the Dutch oven)
- 200 g dark chocolate couverture
- 250 g soft butter
- 200 g sugar
- 5 eggs
- 400 g flour
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 50 g cornstarch
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 120 ml milk

Brush the Dutch oven with oil and sprinkle it with breadcrumbs.

Melt the chocolate over a hot water bath, then let it cool slightly. Whisk the butter and sugar until fluffy. Gradually fold in the eggs and melted chocolate. Mix the flour with cocoa, cornstarch, and baking powder; add to the butter mixture and stir quickly with milk until a thick, elastic batter forms.

Pour the batter into the pot, smooth the surface, cover, and hang over the fire. After about 35 minutes, perform a toothpick test; if it comes out clean, remove from heat or bake a few more minutes.
