Chili Sauce with Honey

The honey chili sauce from Spoonsparrow is perfect for dipping finger foods and enhances grilled dishes.

Ingredients

  • 4 red chilies
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 50 ml mild white wine vinegar
  • 50 g honey
  • Lemon juice

Instructions

    Wash, trim and finely chop the chilies. Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves.

    Bring the chilies and garlic with vinegar, honey and about 200 ml water to a boil, then simmer gently for about 40 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally. Finish by seasoning with lemon juice.
