Ingredients
- 2 onions
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 400 g ground beef
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 4 tbsp tomato paste
- 250 g canned kidney beans
- 250 g diced tomatoes (canned)
- 1 chili pepper
- 0.5 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 0.5 tsp chili powder
- 0.5 tsp cumin
- 1 pinch brown sugar
- 0.5 tsp Salt

Peel and finely chop onions and garlic. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the prepared onions with garlic until translucent. Add ground beef and cook, stirring, until crumbly.

Wash both bell peppers, halve them, remove stems and seeds, then dice. Combine with tomato paste in the pan and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, drain kidney beans. Crush canned tomatoes. Clean, wash, and finely chop chili pepper. Add everything to the beef mixture and stir.

Season with chili powder, cumin, brown sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
