Ingredients

  • 250 g chickpeas
  • 2 EL plant oil
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 TL cumin powder
  • 1 TL curry
  • 0.5 TL cayenne pepper
  • 2 EL chopped fresh coriander
  • Salt

Instructions

    Soak chickpeas overnight in water, then cook them in plenty of salted water for about 1 hour. Drain.

    Peel and finely chop the garlic and onion. Briefly blanch the tomatoes, cool, peel, quarter, deseed, and roughly chop them.

    Heat oil, add chickpeas, garlic, onions, tomatoes, and spices; simmer while stirring for 10-15 minutes. Serve garnished with coriander.
