Ingredients

  • 2 corn cobs
  • 1 chicken (ca. 1.2 kg)
  • 1 onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 300 g diced tomatoes (canned)
  • 250 g beans (in tomato sauce, canned)
  • 100 g cooked black beans
  • 100 g cooked white beans
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • 1 tbsp hot chili sauce
  • clarified butter

Instructions

    Cook corn cobs in plenty of salted water for about 20 minutes and drain. Cut the chicken into six pieces.

    Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Heat clarified butter in a tall pan and brown the chicken pieces well. Reduce heat and add the onion and garlic, cooking until fragrant.

    Add the tomatoes and all beans. Season with salt, pepper, and hot chili sauce. Cover and simmer over medium heat for 20–25 minutes.

    Slice the corn into thick rounds, add them to the pot, and simmer for another 5 minutes. Taste again and serve with fresh crispy bread.
