  • 700 g rosehips
  • 1 kg sour cherries
  • 500 g preserve sugar (2:1)

    Wash the rosehips and drain them. Cook in about 200 ml water for approximately 15 minutes until soft. Drain and strain through a fine sieve. Measure out 200 g of rosehip puree. Wash, pit, and weigh about 800 g of cherries. Puree finely and combine with the rosehip puree in a large pot. Bring to a boil while stirring, then simmer for about 4 minutes until bubbling. Perform a gel test, skim off any foam, and ladle the hot jam into clean jars almost full. Let cool upside down.
