Ingredients
- 5 g Butter (1 tsp)
- 600 g cherries
- 5 eggs
- 75 g honey
- 1 pinch Vanilla powder
- 500 g Low-fat quark
- 1 tsp organic lemon zest
- 75 g whole grain semolina
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 50 g chopped almond kernels

Spray a baking dish with butter.

Wash, pit, and pat cherries dry.

Separate egg whites and beat stiff. Whisk yolks with honey and vanilla until very creamy, then mix in quark and lemon zest. Combine semolina with baking powder, stir in, and fold in the beaten egg whites. Pour into the greased dish and spread cherries on top. Sprinkle almonds over the surface and bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (180 °C fan; gas: level 3) for about 45 minutes until golden brown.
