Ingredients
- 4 apples (e.g., Golden Delicious)
- 200 g cherries (pitted)
- juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp cherry liqueur
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp butter
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions

Cut off the tops of the apples, remove the cores and hollow them out leaving about 1 cm of apple wall. Place the apples in a greased baking dish.

Dice the apple flesh finely and mix with cherries, lemon juice, cherry liqueur, and honey. Fill the hollowed apples, replace the tops, and bake at 160°C (325°F) on both top and bottom heat in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes until golden brown.

Before serving dust with powdered sugar.
