Pan‑fried Apples

Spoonsparrow presents a delightful dessert featuring fresh apples cooked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 4 beautiful apples
  • 80 g Butter
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 tbsp liquid honey
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 glass cider

Instructions

    Wash the apples, pat them dry and cut off a wide lid (about ¼ of the apple height). Remove the core with a melon baller. Arrange the bread slices in a baking dish and place the apples on top.

    Drizzle each apple with 1 tbsp honey and sprinkle with cinnamon. Place the lids back on and scatter butter chunks over them. Pour cider over the apples and bake in a preheated oven at 150°C for about 30 minutes.
