Ingredients

  • 1 head of lettuce
  • 300 g sliced cheese (e.g., Gouda, Emmental...)
  • 10 cocktail tomatoes
  • 1 Shallot
  • 1 stalk Celery
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped parsley
  • 50 g mayonnaise
  • 50 g whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp coarse mustard
  • 2 tsp white wine vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 40 g walnut kernels

Instructions

    Separate the salad into leaves, wash, rinse, pat dry and tear into bite‑sized pieces as needed.

    Cut the cheese into sticks about 0.5 cm thick.

    Wash the cocktail tomatoes and quarter them. Peel and finely chop the shallot. Wash the celery and slice crosswise.

    Whisk together mayonnaise, cream, mustard, and vinegar; season with salt and pepper. Fold in the shallot and parsley.

    For serving, arrange salad, celery, cheese, and tomatoes on a plate, drizzle each with dressing, and sprinkle walnut kernels on top.
