Ingredients

  • 200 g wheat
  • 200 g wheat flour
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 300 ml lukewarm water
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • flour (for the work surface)

    Grind the wheat very finely and mix it in a bowl with the light flour and salt. Create a well in the center and knead the water into the dough spoonfuls from the middle until a smooth dough forms. Then fold in the oil, cover, and let rest in a warm place for about 40 minutes. Shape the dough into roughly 16 equal balls and roll each on the floured work surface into flatbreads about 18 cm wide.

    Bake the flatbreads without fat in a large pan for about 1–2 minutes per side, keep them warm in the oven, and serve with curry.
