Ingredients

  • 400 g Chickpeas (canned; drained weight)
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 1 onion
  • 0.5 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 6 tbsp Olive oil
  • 800 g chopped tomatoes
  • 500 g Cauliflower
  • Salt
  • 0.5 bunch cilantro (10 g)

Instructions

    Rinse and drain chickpeas. Peel garlic and onion, finely chop. Blend 300 g chickpeas with garlic, ginger, garam masala, turmeric, and 1/2 tsp chili powder into a paste.

    Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan. Sauté onion for 3 minutes over medium heat. Add remaining chickpeas and fry for 5 minutes. Add chickpea paste and chopped tomatoes; simmer about 10 minutes over medium heat.
