Cauliflower with Minced Meat Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 medium cauliflower
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 400 g mixed minced meat
  • 1 small can tomatoes
  • paprika powder (sweet)
  • 20 g freshly grated Parmesan

Instructions

    Cook cauliflower in lightly salted water with lemon juice for about 15–20 minutes until tender.

    Peel and finely chop the onion; sauté in hot butter until translucent. Add the minced meat and cook until crumbly. Stir in the tomatoes with their juice, break them up with a potato masher, and season with salt, pepper, and paprika powder. Simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes.

    Serve the cauliflower topped with the minced meat sauce and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
