- 700 g fresh cauliflower
- 50 g grated Gouda cheese
- sweet heavy cream
- 4 tbsp milk
- 1 large egg
- Salt
- Pepper
- Grated nutmeg
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Break the cauliflower into small florets, rinse them, and cook in boiling water over medium heat for a few minutes.

Meanwhile, place the grated cheese in a deep bowl. Add cream, milk, egg, salt, pepper, a pinch of grated nutmeg, and chopped parsley. Mix well with a fork and gently warm in a saucepan while stirring. Drain the cooked cauliflower and pour the cheese‑cream sauce over it. Serve as a side dish.
