Cauliflower and Pea Medley

Ingredients

  • 800 g cauliflower
  • 400 g peas
  • 2 tbsp plant oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 Green Chili Pepper
  • 2 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp turmeric (ground)
  • 100 g yogurt
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Salt
  • pepper (from grinder)
  • paprika powder (spicy)

Instructions

    Wash and trim the cauliflower, cutting into small florets. Rinse the peas and drain. Brown the cauliflower in hot oil for 4-5 minutes. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Wash the chili pepper, cut lengthwise, deseed, and dice. Add both to the pan with ginger and sauté briefly. Stir in cumin and turmeric, adding a splash of water.

    Whisk yogurt with flour until smooth, then add to the peas and cauliflower mixture. Cook on low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Finish by seasoning with lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle with paprika powder before serving.
