Carrot salad from Spoonsparrow: With sesame oil and soy sauce this starter becomes a small excursion into Asian cuisine.

Ingredients

  • 400 g Carrots
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • Salt
  • ground pepper

Instructions

    Peel and grate the carrots coarsely. Peel and finely grate the ginger and garlic. Mix ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and oil together and season with salt and pepper.

    Add to the grated carrots, combine well. Let the carrot salad rest for 10 minutes before serving.
