White Bean Salad with Tuna

The White Bean Salad with Tuna from Spoonsparrow is always delicious.

Ingredients

  • 4 stalks celery (with greens)
  • 3 spring onions
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 250 g white beans (canned; drained weight)
  • 150 g tuna in its own juice (canned; drained weight)
  • 2 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Wash celery and cut into thin strips lengthwise. Wash, trim, and slice spring onions into fine rings. Peel garlic and press with a garlic press. Warm 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan, then sauté celery, spring onions, and garlic.

    Drain beans and rinse with clear water. Drain tuna. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Season with remaining oil, vinegar, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
