Carrot Millet Porridge

A sweet and gentle porridge rich in beta‑carotene that helps your baby develop healthy, radiant skin.

Ingredients

  • 100 g young carrots (1 carrot)
  • 200 ml milk (3.5 % fat)
  • 20 g whole‑grain millet grits (2 tbsp)

Instructions

    Wash and trim the carrot under warm water, leaving the peel on if possible. Grate finely on a box grater.

    Bring the grated carrot and milk to a boil in a saucepan. Whisk in the millet grits with a whisk. Simmer gently for 3 minutes while stirring constantly until it thickens.

    If desired, blend the porridge with an immersion blender and let it cool slightly before serving.
