Ingredients

  • 6 apples (e.g., Golden Delicious)
  • 500 g sugar
  • 2 tsp white vinegar
  • red food coloring

Instructions

    Wash the apples, dry them, remove the stems, and insert a wooden skewer into each apple.

    Quickly bring the sugar, about 70 ml water, and the vinegar to a boil in a pot, then simmer until a thick syrup forms. Color this with a few drops of red food coloring.

    Dip the apples one by one into the syrup, turning them until they are fully coated. Place them on a sheet of parchment paper and let cool.
